As a co-founder of the business, Ian has seen the company grow from a start-up, with no clients and no car parks to one of the leading car park management companies in the UK employing over 350 people with over 400 sites under their management.

As Operations Director Ian is particularly proud of the company's staff retention rate and even prouder of the fact that his top level management team of Operations Managers have all been promoted from within. He believes this shows the value the company has derived from its investment in training and personal development.

Although the industry has changed dramatically since CP Plus was formed in 1991, the values that helped the company grow, a quality service and putting the customer first, Ian helps to maintain through the training programs and company ethos.

Grahame joined CP Plus in 1995. Coming from a small business background his 'hands on', service orientated approach fitted in perfectly with CP Plus' business outlook.

Charged with the responsibility of breathing new life into the company’s development and marketing activities, he has continued innovating its products and services ever since. He has been instrumental in guiding the growth of CP Plus from a company that managed 28 sites when he joined to its current portfolio of over 400.

Realising that the future was going to be all about technology and being curious about where this would take business, Grahame has been the driving force in moving the company’s IT infrastructure and services into the 21st century.

Under his direction, CP Plus constantly looks to innovate and review its services and as such has widened its portfolio. CP Plus now offers a range of non-core services to clients, such as security and facilities management.

Grahame is also a Board Member of the British Parking Association.

Tamsin joined the Board of CP Plus in April 2010, helping to take CP Plus to the next stage in its development. Having completed her Chartered Accountancy training with Ernst & Young in London in 1994, Tamsin worked across a number of business sectors including Oil, Insurance, Defence and Telecoms, enjoying exposure to clients facing change and challenges.

With her practical and solutions-based approach, Tamsin decided that her interests lay in assisting companies to grow and manage transformation. After leaving Ernst & Young, she went on to work with SMEs, working her way up to Finance Director.  During this time, Tamsin’s focus was on implementing new business practices and introducing meaningful and timely management information, to enable companies to make informed decisions. Having gone through a turnaround with one company, she decided to focus specifically on this area and set-up her own consultancy which worked with SMEs in periods of change and/or crisis.

In her consultancy she has worked with a wide range of businesses, including advertising agencies, brand consultancies, events management, and a small investment fund. Tamsin carried out projects such as valuing businesses, due diligence, setting-up financial systems, staff training and turnarounds.

With a background in engineering, Gavin turned his hand to car parking in 1999 when he joined CP Plus’ Development Team.

Gavin and his team guide potential clients through the process of a selecting a parking scheme and offer specialist advice to ensure that the best possible solution is selected. With a commercial focus to maximise efficiency of parking spaces and a service ethos to improve the customer experience.

With a consultative approach, Gavin has been instrumental in taking the business into new sectors and environments and manages a large number of client relationships which have been key to maintaining the firm’s stability and growth.

With a genuine interest in parking technologies and innovation, Gavin has developed systems in conjunction with equipment and solution providers to deal with unique and sometimes quirky parking scenarios.

Some say that car parking is not ‘rocket science’, however Gavin insists that his Quantum Leap from engineering to car park management is set to change that.
